Intimation Process

Customer/Claimant can contact through any of the following for intimation of Death Claim
- Toll free number 1800-419-4194 (Mon-Sat 9.30AM – 6.30PM)
- Send a written request via email at helpdesk@maxvijay.com
- Contact the Distributor
- Send a letter, intimating about death along with the Death Claim form (Form-A) at the following address:

Claim Processing
- If request is through a call or a letter, customer service team will request customer/claimant to send the Death Claim form (Form A) along with the supporting documents.
- The customer/claimant can obtain the Death Claim form (Form A) from the distributor; or customer service team can send the form by courier directly to the customer/claimant.

- Customer/claimant will send all the required documents along with the Death Claim form (Form A) to Max Vijay address for claim processing.
- Claims Team will investigate the claim and subsequently approve or repudiate the
claim.
Settlement Process
- If claim is approved, refund payment will be made to the customer/claimant through
the following: -
- Customer service team will send the Claim Settlement letter along with the payment
advice to the customer/claimant.
- The TAT for the settling the death claim will be 7 business days from the date of
last document received.

The policyholder has a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of the policy to review the Terms
and Conditions thereof and if the policyholder disagrees to any of the said terms and conditions, he
has the option to return the policy stating the reasons for his objection/cancellation and we shall
refund the premium received subject to deduction of proportionate risk premium for the period of
cover and stamp duty charges.

Cancellation Processing
- If request is through a call, customer service team will request customer to send
the Service Request form along with the supporting documents and specifying reason
for cancellation.
- The customer can obtain the service request from the distributor; or customer service team can send the form by courier directly to the customer.

- Customer service team will send the free look cancellation letter along with the
payment advice to the customer.
- The TAT for the processing the free look cancellation request will be 7 business
days from the date of intimation.

The policyholder may surrender the policy at any time after the third policy anniversary.
A surrender value equal to the policyholder’s account values less the surrender
charge shall be paid to the policyholder. The full surrender option is available to the policyholder even before the third policy anniversary however this attracts a surrender charge of 100% of account value.

The policyholder may at any time after the third policy anniversary, can request
and partially withdraw from the policy to an extent not exceeding 30% of the policyholders’
account value prevailing as on the immediately preceding policy anniversary. This
will be subject to a partial withdrawal charge as applicable i.e. subject to the terms and conditions of the policy document.

- Maturity amount will be automatically calculated basis the policy maturity date, and the refund payment will be made to the customer through the following: -
- Customer service team will send the maturity payment discharge letter along with the payment advice to the customer.
